How did you develop this prayer notebook system?
I did a workshop on prayer and my outline developed into the Pray About Your Praying sheet. I used that sheet personally for many months. The prayer notebook came about step by step as I continued my heartfelt desire to have God teach me how to pray in a way that pleased Him.
This seems like an overwhelming task. Where do I begin?
You begin by Pray About Your Praying. It's actually best to do this before you do anything else with your notebook. It's good that you are overwhelmed, then you will go to "the Rock that is higher . . ."
I like to write out my requests. Do I have to use a computer?
It's fine to write out your prayer requests. Several different templates for write-in pages can be downloaded and printed out.
What are the advantages of using the computer?
You do not have to keep rewriting everything. You can save individual files and easily update and print a new section.
But I'm not that great at the computer! Will I be able to use the computer template you provide?
The template is a simple Microsoft Word document. A good opportunity to pray and ask the Lord to lead you to someone who will help you get started! The prayer notebook and this website have come about by prayer.
Do you have a children's edition?
Yes! See a sample pages under downloads. Be sure to use landscape mode when printing the prayer lists.
