I remember very clearly my first conversation with Ruth when she called my office to request reprint permission for a FrontLine magazine article. She also mentioned a prayer notebook she had put together and offered to send me one of her samplers. I knew immediately I wanted more than just the sampler. Since then, I have ordered 100s of samplers and plenty of the notebooks for other ladies who got just as excited as I did when I first heard about it. I’ve often asked myself, “What is it that I love so much about Ruth’s Prayer Notebook System?” It has to be how all the parts of the notebook work together. Whether it’s using plastic page protectors, business card pages, post-it notes to “mark your spot,” or a variety of other neat ideas, it has given me one place to organize everything in my prayer life. Everyone’s Prayer Notebook is a little different, as it should be. My notebook will always be a work in progress, because my prayer life will always be, too. But I’m growing, and I am so thankful that the Lord brought Ruth into my life to help me take that next step to change and grow.
